Are you a visual learner?  Perhaps a picture or image helps you best in understanding general experiences of healing after trauma?

Over the decade or so, an evolution of visual aids has occurred based on observations of responding to both natural storms and also human-caused disasters.

You can view four different charts here, and see this evolution for yourself.  These charts are useful guides in understanding basic group responses to trauma.  They are not prescriptive, and only note general trajectories, because each disaster and response to disaster is unique.
