Forums, Coaching, and Retreats

Forums

Your gifts create educational forums to introduce faith leaders and field experts, expanding understandings of healing from trauma and whole community care. Examples of past forums include:
  • Disaster Preparedness forums introducing faith leaders to emergency managers and NVOAD leaders
  • Educational forums introducing faith leaders to representatives from the Department of Homeland Security's Center for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships
  • Collaborative forums introducing youth ministers and school counselors to one another, and expanding conversations for meeting needs for at-risk youth
  • Collaborative forums introducing faith leaders and nonprofit leaders to one another, and expanding conversations for sustainable community care

Coaching

The purpose of coaching is to expand trauma-informed capacities within your congregation or ministry group.
Generally, coaching is provided by one or more ICTG representatives via phone or video conferencing.
Initial brief consultation is free and provided to identify specific trauma-informed projects or initiatives your organization is seeking. During this session, we will also discuss how many coaching sessions you are seeking and the projects or goals you have in mind.
Weekly Group Coaching is available for both ordained and non-ordained ministry leaders to learn from one another about best practices for preparedness and post-trauma care. Group Coaching is facilitated by an ICTG representative and provided on an ongoing basis. To inquire about Group Coaching, please complete this form (at the bottom of the page).

These are created in consultation with you and tailored to meet your organization's unique needs. They may include debriefings, education, and/or training. Retreat pricing is set at flat rates, and does not include expenses for travel, lodging, or administration fees for materials and processing retreat registrations.
