Assessment
Assessment involves a process of identifying what happened, who was impacted, and what services can be helpful across an estimated trajectory of restoration. It also can include preparedness planning. It is an interactive process in which leaders participate to gain trauma understanding and learn how best to resource their organization, group, or community.
An assessment usually starts with a series of inquiring conversations with persons most directly involved and with persons who are decision-makers. It progresses to the creation of summary and, often, a care plan. It tends to precede coaching. Generally, an assessment is provided by one or more ICTG representatives in person, and in conversation with persons most directly involved with what happened and with persons who are decision-makers within the organization. Free Consultation Initial brief consultation is free and provided to identify specific trauma-informed projects or initiatives your organization is seeking.
