Trauma-Informed Response

TRAUMA-INFORMED DISASTER RESPONSE FOR CONGREGATIONS

Has your congregation experienced a disaster? We can help.

Disaster impacts congregations in widely ranging ways. Staff members often experience the disaster differently from one another, based on previous life experience, what may be personally at stake, or where they were when the incident or series of events occurred. Similarly, congregation members and the greater community the congregation serves may experience disaster differently. Conducting staff debriefings, organizational assessments, and strategizing best steps forward, including how the congregation can serve as a source of healing and nourishment, through the challenge of long term recovery can mean the difference between whether your congregation dives or thrives amid adversity.
Here are some ways we can support your response:
  • Debriefing
  • Assessment
  • Coaching
  • Counseling
  • Long-Term Recovery Advising
