Long Term Recovery Advising
As either an educational or coaching service, long term recovery advising involves the provision of information related to best, or current and evolving, practices of organizing and strategically planning care for groups or communities impacted by disaster.
One or more community leaders usually initiates Long Term Recovery Advising by contacting an Institute representative to learn more about common long term recovery trends and best practices, especially related to mental, emotional, and spiritual care. Generally, long term recovery advising involves a series of conversations and check-ins throughout the trajectory of long term recovery.
