History
From May 2012 through June 2022, this website served as a central location for leaders of community and faith-based organizations to locate resources, including information, coaching, and therapeutic services, to address crises within or surrounding their organizations. This website remains open to provide historical information that stood largely ahead of the collective trauma-informed curve. For ongoing consulting, assessment, or counseling inquiries, contact Rev. Dr. Kate Wiebe.
Mission
From May 2012 through June 2022 our mission was to provide leaders with restorative strategies for personal and group growth after collective loss.
Vision
From May 2012 through June 2022, we saw a day when leaders were equipped to respond to the impacts of trauma in their organizations and communities. As numerous organizations pivoted during pandemic shut-downs toward more collective trauma-informed abilities, we celebrated seeing that day becoming more and more a reality.
“ICTG's team takes anxiety out of trauma situations in their ability to offer road-maps for navigating the practical, emotional, relational, & spiritual implications of trauma on community. I am so thankful for [their] presence in our community!”
“I knew after losing so much [in a natural disaster] I needed counseling, coaching, and
support, and I sought it out... I am so incredibly thankful to have found ICTG!"

"Working as an intern at ICTG, alongside the director, was a rich and growing experience. My internship was treated like a mentorship and I was quickly welcomed into their organization. I was trained and entrusted to speak with members of my community who respond to trauma and encouraged to take the internship in a direction that suited my interests. I felt empowered by ICTG's training and was able to integrate trauma response into my field of study." LIBBY BAKER, INTERN '17 |
