Welcome to Institute Blog Updates! In May [2013], the Institute celebrated our one-year anniversary, and we are thankful and eager to share some of our latest updates. Thank you to all who have given generously of time, talent, and financial gifts. With your gifts, the Institute has made a strong start. Our passion centers on the months and years after trauma events when mental, emotional, and spiritual needs are greatest. Such a season in the life of an organization or community brings uncertainty and inevitable change. "The transition from triage to addressing ongoing health" becomes a critical moment in the vitality of an organization or community's life and mission, as one leader describes. "How do we put things back together in a new way, as individuals and community?" A one-of-a-kind agency, the Institute addresses these long-term care needs by providing tools for professional and volunteer leaders of organizations and the community after trauma. As leaders seek to grow or regrow programs for children, youth, and adults, we seek to provide them with the resources that help them thrive. You can find out more about how you can partner, volunteer, or financially support the Institute's services by browsing this website. Thank you! You make this work possible, and your generosity brings encouragement to many!
